Description
Bucephalandra Peacock is one of the most sought-after varieties in the Bucephalandra family, celebrated for its striking appearance and hardy nature. Native to the rainforests of Borneo, this rare aquatic plant is a favorite among aquascaping enthusiasts and serious plant collectors alike.
Depending on the lighting conditions, the leaves can display subtle hints of blue, purple, or silver, making each plant a unique living centerpiece in any aquarium or terrarium setup.
Growth & Care Bucephalandra Peacock is a slow-growing, low-maintenance plant, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced aquascapers. It thrives in low to medium lighting and does not require CO2 injection, though adding CO2 can encourage faster, lusher growth. It grows best when attached to driftwood, rocks, or other hardscape materials using fishing line or aquarium-safe glue — avoid burying the rhizome in substrate, as this can cause the plant to rot.
