Description

Teak Leaf for Aquascape

Tectona grandis is a large tropical leaf known for its broad oval shape and prominent vein structure. When dried, teak leaves develop rich earthy colors ranging from golden brown to deep rust tones, often with a naturally textured surface. When placed in an aquarium, the leaf gradually softens and becomes part of the aquascape layout, blending naturally with driftwood, stones, and other botanical materials. Its large surface area makes it visually striking and ideal for creating a natural forest-floor effect inside the aquarium.

Beyond visual appeal, teak leaves also contribute to the ecological balance of an aquarium environment. As the leaf slowly breaks down, it encourages the growth of biofilm and beneficial microorganisms. These microorganisms are an important natural food source for shrimp and other small aquatic animals. The leaf also provides hiding spaces and grazing surfaces for shrimp, fry, and nano fish species, helping create a more comfortable and natural habitat.Teak leaf
