Hi there! Are you looking for exotic, rare, and native plants from Indonesia? Excellent! You find the right and the best site!

But wait, since import plants from overseas, in this case, is Indonesia, not as easy as buying candy from the shop next door to your house but also not as hard as being a part of his life… So I have a piece of information about it.

The regulation in both countries has to be fulfilled of this kind of transaction such as import permit,  phytosanitary certificate, etc.

First of all, once you have a  wishlist of plants to buy, please do not lazy to search for any information about buy plants from Indonesia which is applied in your country (the US) as not all plants are allowed into there. But, don’t worry be happy since all of our plants are could able to send to the US legally.

Unfortunately, many of our candidate customers have not know how to obtain an import permit. This question is one of our FAQs hence this article would be very helpful for anyone who is still struggle to get an export permit. Without any further due, here we go!

Why do you need an import permit

Before answer this one question, let me inform you of an important thing. Import plants from Indonesia into the US is no need for an import permit as long as you only buy plants under 13 plants of the number.  This means you could be able to buy 12 plants without an import permit.  But, we do not recommend to buy plants with a little of number as it is not worth the shipping cost and the risk that may happen to the plants along the trip.

Okay! Back to the question. Why do you need an import permit? The answer is because it is a mandatory once you buy plants more than 12 plants and vice versa. In our point of view, even though you buy plants less than 12, we highly recommend having one. Why? Because it is a free and very simple process. Moreover would make your life a lot easier. When you have an import permit you would have a little ID, a little barcode that is attached to the box (package). That’s makes it so much easier to get in contact with you if it ends up being a longer than usual customs process. The most important thing if you have an import permit or USDA, which is the one that takes care of the customs and inspection. So take the extra time to get an import permit, you won’t regret it ever.

How to obtain an import permit in the US

Based on our experience in this export plants field, we are not only gain the very amazing customer, but also the most helpful and useful information from them. Not going to lie, as we are a native Indonesian and have no idea how to obtain an import permit in the US, we try our best to find the way. This is step by step that you could able to do if you want to get an import permit.
