Description

Venus 87 – Introduction
Bucephalandra Venus 87 is a compact aquatic plant collected directly from the wild river systems of Borneo. Numbered and traceable, this is a single intact specimen — not a tissue culture clone, not a farm-grown cutting. What arrives is a genuine wild plant, shaped by years of growth in fast-moving water over bare rock, carrying a density and character that cultivated plants rarely achieve.
The foliage is deep green and composed. Each leaf holds its form cleanly, sitting at a natural angle that catches aquarium light without effort. Up close, the surface reveals a quiet iridescence — a subtle shift in tone depending on how light reaches it. It is not a dramatic plant. It does not demand attention. It earns it gradually, the way all genuinely good things do.
