Description

Wavy Green 120 – Introduction
Bucephalandra Wavy Green 120 comes directly from the wild river systems of Borneo. Numbered and traceable, this single intact specimen carries the character and resilience that only years of natural growth can produce. No tissue culture. No farm-grown cutting. Just a genuine wild plant, shaped by fast-moving water over bare rock.
The leaves run long and narrow, tapering to a clean point at the tip. Along each edge, a distinct wave travels the full length of the leaf — not a subtle undulation, but a confident, repeating movement that gives this variety its name and its character. The surface reads dark green in most conditions. Under aquarium lighting, it shifts toward blue-green, revealing an iridescence that changes with the angle of light. Reddish-brown stems and midrib add quiet contrast, making each leaf stand clearly against hardscape and neighbouring plants.
